Hello Everyone!
We are sending this out in hopes it reaches most. Summer may feel like it’s still a hop, skip, and a jump away, but registration for Kids Summer Camp at the MWC has already opened! With this said, I would love everyone to be informed of the Summer Basics as more questions and phone calls start to come in.
You are ALWAYS welcome to come get Sara or Alyssa/Dylan, in the office if they are present. If they are not present, you can always reach us at <crdcamp@mail.sfsu.edu> OR <smckeon@sfsu.edu>

What time is camp? What time early/after care and how much?
Camp runs from 9am-5pm *Please do not drop off campers before 8:45am
Early Care starts at 7:30am
After Care goes until 6pm
If you are planning on using early and after care the whole week, or more than a few days, we recommend you purchasing the weekly $50 Early and After care. This includes both. If you only need one day of it early and/or after care, we recommend you purchasing the Summer Camp ‘25 Daily Early/After Care. After purchase, we would greatly appreciate you emailing <crdcamp@mail.sfsu.edu> to specify what day and if you are planning on using early and/or after care.
I am having trouble registering, can you help?
Here is a step-by-step process on how to register on our website! If you have tried this, please be mindful you cannot register for camp on a mobile device or tablet, it must be a computer. Also, the camp is age restricted, so if you are trying to sign up as an adult for your child it will not work. Once you are signed, or create, your member profile, please scroll to the bottom where you can add a dependent.
I am currently a full time SFSU staff/faculty/alumni. Do I get a discount?
If you are a current student, staff, faculty member, or alumni of SFSU, you are welcome to apply this discount code. You can receive the discount code by Emailing crdcamp@mail.sfsu.edu. Please include SFSU email and SFSU ID number.
Do I need to be a current SFSU community member to sign up for camp?
No! This SFSU Kids Summer Camp is open to everyone ages 5-12 years old.
When is the last day I can register for camp?
Registration is open for camp up until the Wednesday before the camp week starts. For example, Week 1 starts June 16, so registration for that week will close Wednesday June 11. This includes the registration for the week of camp, AND the $50 weekly Early/After care. The Summer Camp ‘25 Daily Early/After will be open for registration throughout camp duration.
If I change my mind, can I cancel my child’s registration and receive a refund?
As stated in our registration process, “Refund Agreement: We are unable to process any refunds or transfer registration to a different week of camp. All sales are final.” In order to proceed with the registration, you will need to submit yes before proceeding to secure a spot.
What are the field trips this year? Will they be the same as last year’s field trips?
Confirmed field trips are on the website! Please continue to check our website for updates. We will travel by charter bus to all field trips.
Will the kids be put into groups? I want to send my child with a sibling/cousin/friend.
Campers will be split into two groups, a younger and older group. There is no consistent age restriction for either group due to uncontrollable, even amounts in each group. There is a space for you to add an accommodation where you can add in this comment. This is not guaranteed but we will try our best to make it happen!
Guardian Day and Guardian Packet
Guardian Day will be June 14th this year! This is a chance for guadians to tour our facility and ask questions specific to camp. You are welcome to bring your camper to meet the counselors during this time. Please keep an eye out for a future email for further details.
In order to attend camp, a completed Guardian Packet is required. These will be emailed in advance for you to return it virtually or handed out physically on guardian day.
Counselor Background
All counselors are students of SFSU who work hard during their training for the entire Spring Semester. Counselors are required to be background checked, and to complete CPR and first aid trainings.
